13 Oct 2008After being found guilty of betting on matches, French tennis player Mathieu Montcourt, the winner of this year’s two Challenger titles, was fined US$12,000 and is to be suspended from men’s tennis circuit for two months from Aug. 11.
Mentcourt bet on matches that involved other players between June and September 2005. However, the ATP found no proof that he tried to affect their outcomes.
